Firstly, we all want to thank Brother Shao and Sister Park for their gracious hospitality in providing their Juolan cabin for our leadership training meeting. We know that God will bless them for their kindness to His children. The meeting was a good time for discussing and learning more about Christian service. Some of the key points were that service in the Church is limitless in opportunity. Whatever we do unto one of God’s children we do unto Him. So service is one way we have of showing our gratitude and love toward our Heavenly Father.
The time was also a good opportunity for some of our international leader’s (Taiwan, China, Korea & US) to get to know each other better. As people we are different in language and culture, but in Christ we realize that we are united once we begin sharing in fellowship.
A couple of key decisions were made: 1) Children’s Sunday School will begin at the end of Worship time and either Sister Park or Sister Zhao will be leading with Wendy or Monica assisting. 2) The Youth Group will be starting up again beginning at 11:30 and going through lunch time(12:30) with Brother Forman leading. The Youth Group will be conducted in both Chinese and English. We hope for a good turn out of our youth and the prayers of our members and parents that they’ll get a good vision on their role as future leaders in society and the church.
5月4日下午執事訓練會圓滿結束,感謝邵弟兄和朴姊妹提供卓蘭山區渡假農場場地, 神 祝福他們全家.此次執事會分享”事奉人生”活著就是事奉,由夏忠堅牧師著作,事奉上帝不只是聖所的事奉,身為基督徒都應隨時隨地事奉,讀經’禱告’讚美敬拜’勸勉’奉獻…….
執事同工們生長在不同國家背景,但服事的是同一位上帝,藉此次執事訓練更進一步認識每位執事,在教會達到事奉分工目的.請每位同工’信徒’父母’同為培育兒童和青少年成為未來福音領袖,一齊努力參與服事和代禱.
目前兒童主日學於主日聚會後由Wendy & Monica 輪流帶領教小朋友,由成人朴姊妹和趙姊妹輪流監督.青少年團契由Mark弟兄帶領高中’國中青年,用國語和英語服事,請青少年踴躍參加,時間:主日聚會後上午11:30~12:30.
